STEAMCREAM is inviting entries into its annual design competition. We are committed to supporting emerging artists and encouraging entrants of all ages to help us keep our designs eclectic, global and inclusive of all artistic styles and tastes. The winning design will feature the artists name on the base of the tin. Each design is a limited edition run, once sold out they provide uniquely collectable pieces of art. Our winning design will be available via our web site and will be offered to all stockists, including Liberty, Selfridges, John Lewis, Saatchi Art Gallery and our international partners. Entry to the STEAMCREAM design competition is free to all aspiring artists globally.

RIGHTS AND USAGE: By submitting artwork the applicant represents that his or her entries are the artists original creation and that the artwork does not infringe on any third party rights. The winning entrants will be asked to sign a Rights and Usage agreement. Copyright of selected artwork remains with the artist who agrees to grant permission to STEAMCREAM to use the submitted material on product tins, STEAMCREAM’s web site, promotional materials, trade shows other promotional events, press releases and articles as needed. The artist also grants STEAMCREAM permission to manipulate submitted pieces in order to properly fit on product tins. The artist’s permission to display the artwork cannot be reversed and its use or removal is entirely at the discretion of STEAMCREAM. STEAMCREAM ensures that the artwork will be rendered at an appropriately high level of resolution. The artist agrees that the artwork may be displayed on STEAMCREAM’s web site on an ongoing basis as part of STEAMCREAM’s Design Gallery. If selected, the winner of this years STEAMCREAM competition grants STEAMCREAM permission to use their name, likeness, entry and artwork, and to photograph him or her for the purposes of trade, publicity or promotion. Selected artwork gains exposure through prominent placement on product tins until the limited edition run of up to 100,000 tins have sold out either through distribution via retail stores, STEAMCREAM’s web site, trade shows or events, and through press generated by STEAMCREAM. There are no cash awards for the selected artist’s artwork, and the artist agrees not to charge any price per image.
